This Satchel is a study in bold simplicity. Where other bags rely on pattern or motif, this one makes its statement through texture and colour alone. Across the entire surface, irregular organic forms, reminiscent of sun-warmed stone or the natural geometry of a giraffe's hide, rise gently from the body of the bag in a three-dimensional relief. In this vivid strawberry red, the effect is nothing short of electric. Tactile, sculptural and deeply considered, it is the kind of bag that draws a second look from across the room.

No two bags are identical. The relief pattern shifts subtly with every piece, shaped entirely by hand.

Construction & Detail

Built from 100% premium wet-felted natural wool, the Satchel has a structured, self-supporting silhouette with a gently tapered base that gives it a distinctive, refined profile. The top handle, crafted from the same felted wool as the bag itself, sits comfortably in the hand for shorter carries. The front flap closes with a discreet hidden magnetic button on the inside, keeping the exterior uninterrupted and clean.

For shoulder or crossbody wear, the bag comes with a removable, adjustable strap in a matching red felt, fitted with high-quality metal clasps. A full-grain leather strap in a matching colour is also available separately in our store, for those who prefer the feel of leather.

The relief pattern is not applied to the surface. It is grown within it, built up layer by layer through the wet felting process itself and compressed by hand across several days of skilled work.

A note on craft

Each bag takes several days to complete. The three-dimensional surface relief requires particular patience and skill, with every organic tile individually coaxed into shape before the felting process locks it permanently in place. What you hold is the result of that sustained, focused attention.

Variations in tone, texture and pattern arrangement are natural and expected, the unmistakable mark of something made entirely by hand.
