Some things stop you before you have time to think about why.

This Satchel opens with a single rose in full bloom, its petals moving from deep pink at the outer edges to the softest blush at the centre. The kind of rose you might find in an old garden, unhurried and completely sure of itself. Against the warm, cream-white body of the bag, it sits with an effortless elegance that feels both timeless and entirely unexpected.

The body of the bag is not entirely plain. Look closely and a faint, organic texture reveals itself across the surface, a subtle pattern of veins or roots running through the wool, like the grain of natural stone or the underside of a leaf. Quiet enough to let the rose take centre stage. Beautiful enough to reward attention on its own terms.

Construction & Detail

Built from 100% premium wet-felted natural wool, the Satchel has a structured, self-supporting silhouette with a gently tapered base that gives it a distinctive, refined profile. The top handle, crafted from the same felted wool as the bag itself, sits comfortably in the hand for shorter carries. The front flap closes with a discreet hidden magnetic button on the inside, keeping the exterior clean and uninterrupted.

For shoulder or crossbody wear, the bag comes with a removable, adjustable strap in matching cream felt, fitted with high-quality metal clasps. A full-grain leather strap in a matching colour is also available separately in our store.

A note on craft

Each bag takes several days to complete. The rose alone requires hours of careful, focused handwork, each petal individually shaped and locked in place through the felting process before the next is begun. The subtle surface texture of the bag body develops naturally through the work itself, which means no two bags will ever look quite the same.

Variations in tone, texture and the precise form of the rose are natural and expected, the unmistakable mark of something made entirely by hand.
